Discipleship in the New Age I - Personal Instructions to Disciples - H.S.D. |
June 1936 MY BROTHER: Focus the will upon the immediate duty and be not lost in the mazes of possibility. Of your own free will, you undertook to work in my group of disciples and to cooperate with the [578] workers who are endeavoring to carry forward the tasks assigned to them. You pledged yourself in two moments of devotion and of real understanding to cooperate with the task of the New Group of World Servers. Let not the beauty of that which might be done, lead you to forget that which has been begun; otherwise you may land yourself in the world of illusion and consequent futility. You have much to give, so give of your richness of understanding. When group work is successful, it is because the equipment of the group is enhanced by that which each individual has to give. The energy of the unit is absorbed by the entire group and the group output in service is thereby increased. The group is then enabled to shift to a higher plane of service and of consciousness. Ponder on this. |
